When your business runs into trouble, it can be highly stressful and difficult to know what steps to take next. I’m here to help you plot a path for survival, with the aim that you keep on trading, even if that means entering into an insolvency process.
Practical support for lenders
When a borrower has defaulted and you need to enforce your security against a specific asset or class of asset they own, we’re here to help.
We’ll appoint the fixed charge receiver then work closely with them and you to manage the situation so you have confidence the fixed charge is being handled in the most advantageous way.
This might simply be the sale of the asset. It might also be any other activity needed to achieve the best possible realisation, such as completing a development and arranging its marketing and sale. In an optimum scenario, it might even include returning a surplus to the borrower after all costs and expenses have been met.
A proven track record of success
We act on behalf of lenders including high street and challenger banks, holders of agricultural charges, and private lenders. We also work on behalf of national and local accountancy firms, and property agents appointed by lenders. In other circumstances, we act on behalf of borrowers themselves.
This broad spectrum of experience means we understand the needs of all stakeholders and are able to anticipate and resolve any potential issues along the way.
