Praise from clients for their legal skills has brought Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ Cheltenham teams top rankings in two leading legal directories in the last three weeks.

Singled out for being approachable professional, knowledgeable, and commercial in areas of law as varied as real estate, personal tax, trusts and probate, family law, and mergers and acquisitions, the firm has been rated among the best in the country in the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners directories. The rankings are based on clients’ assessments.

They are also recommended as having “a friendly approach towards clients,” with “excellent communication and speedy responses.”

In the family law arena, the team in the south west has the benefit of two partners ranked in the top level, Band 1 – Carolyn Green, who leads the team, who is said to have “vast legal knowledge, and because she’ so experienced, she’s very quick to get to grips with the central issues of a case,” and James Grigg, who works from the Wye Valley office, of whom it has been said: “He is very knowledgeable and experienced – on cases he brings huge value for the client because of his excellence.”

As one person said: “It is an extremely positive experience working with Harrison Clark Rickerbys. The team is extremely well-organised, they are good at managing client expectation and their cases are well-prepared.”

The personal tax, trusts and probate team, led by Alex Taylor, is said to be “a very knowledgeable team with a broad range of specialisms” and the corporate team, led by Rich Wilkey is singled out as “professional, attentive, responsive and hard-working.”
