HCR Law is recognised among the UK’s leading law firms advising on private wealth in this year’s Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide.

17 lawyers across six regions are listed in top bands, recognising the success of HCR’s Private Wealth Sector in supporting high net worth clients looking to protect and manage their wealth and assets. The firm’s multi-disciplinary service includes specialist expertise in private wealth disputes, for which the firm has been newly ranked in this year’s guide.

Katherine Hague, Head of Private Wealth Sector, said, “Building trusted, longstanding relationships with our clients is at the heart of everything we do. The Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide rankings are largely based on client and professional advisers feedback, so it’s especially rewarding to see so many team members listed this year.

“This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality, tailored legal advice across the board.”

Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide rankings are assessed on a range of qualities including client service, technical legal ability, professional conduct, commercial astuteness, diligence, and commitment.

With six lawyers in Band 1 and five lawyers in Band 2, this year’s guide also features four team members as Associates to Watch. Alexandra Francis and Keri Rowan from the Cambridge office are listed for the second year running, demonstrating HCR’s strength in the region.

The ranking is also awarded to Gina Khera and Hauke Harrack from the Central England office.

In Cheltenham, Mark Hartley is listed as senior statesperson, an accolade awarded to lawyers who maintain close links with major clients and continue to contribute to their firm’s success, while Tom Murphy-Kirkhope is recognised as Up-and-Coming for his role in driving the sector’s growth.

Other significant highlights include Kerri Woodrow achieving top ranking for her expertise, after ranking in Band 2 last year as well as being recognised as Up-and-Coming the year before. Building on the momentum of the Worcester office’s growth, Joint Heads of Private Client, Beth King-Smith and Claire Pottinger, have maintained their Band 1 rankings in private wealth disputes and private wealth law, respectively. The office itself also retains its Band 1 ranking.

The Welsh office in Cardiff, which is celebrating its five-year anniversary, has also received notable recognition. David King achieved a Band 1 ranking, while the office itself was awarded a Band 2 ranking, an upward move from the previous year’s results.

Across England and Wales, Private Client teams either maintained or improved their rankings. This reflects the continued growth of HCR Law’s Private Wealth offering, supporting high net worth clients both nationally and internationally.
