HCR Law advises Cred Group Limited on its sale to Owlis Technology Group

HCR Law has advised the shareholders of Cred Group Limited, Robert and Deborah Corder, on the sale of CambIT, their Cambridge-based managed services provider business, to Owlis Technology Group. Founded in 2004 and based in Cambridge, Camb IT Support employs a team of more than15 technical specialists and serves more than 100 active clients, with particular strength in the professional services, legal, accountancy and technology sectors

The deal was led by Laurence Evans (HCR Law Partner and Head of our Corporate team in Cambridge) and Monty Chamberlain (Associate, Cambridge) supported by HCR Partner Ceri Riddell and Associate Jake Gransbury.

Robert Corder, Managing Director at Cred Group, the holding company for CambIT, said: “Laurence, Monty and Ceri were a pleasure to work with throughout what was a long and often complex transaction. They were always approachable, responsive and gave clear, practical advice when it mattered most.”

Camb IT Support becomes the fourth managed service provider to join the Owlis Technology Group

The move extends Owlis’s IT capability for small and medium-sized enterprises across the UK, adding to a portfolio that already spans core IT support, cloud services, cyber security, communications and connectivity.
