HCR Law advises Meridian Cooling on sale to Nordic Climate Group UK

HCR Law’s Midlands Corporate team has advised the shareholders of Meridian Cooling Ltd on their sale to Nordic Climate Group UK Limited (whose parent is a Swedish entity) for a £(confidential) consideration and the issue of shares in the buyer’s parent entity.

Poole-based Meridian Cooling specialises in air conditioning, ventilation and heat pumps in Bournemouth, Poole and Southampton and its client list includes JD Sports and luxury apartments in Poole.

The acquisition adds to Nordic’s growing portfolio of specialist companies in cooling, heating, and energy efficiency.

Meridian Cooling will continue to operate under its established brand, retaining existing customer relationships and specialist expertise.

HCR Law Corporate Partner, Jenna Ostrowski, led the team, which included Saniya Iftikhar and Hyein Ma to provide M&A legal support in relation to the deal.

Wider deal support was also provided by Alison Scott (Corporate and Tax), Adam Percival (Corporate), Ethan Lynch (Corporate) and Zara Shah (Employment).

Brett Keel and Alyse Betteridge at Richard Allen & Associates acted as accountants on the deal.
