HCR Law supports Hazlewoods in sale of Flourish Care to Park Blue Group

Leading specialist care provider Flourish (Gloucestershire) Ltd has been acquired by Park Blue Group, uniting two organisations which are passionate about improving the lives of vulnerable children and teenagers.

The transaction was led by Rob Plumb, Corporate Finance Director at leading accountancy firm Hazlewoods, supporting Flourish’s shareholders through the sale process from strategic planning and identifying a buyer to successful completion.

Hazlewoods worked with HCR Law Partners Rebecca Leask and Louise Crook, and Legal Director Peter Francis from across the firm’s Healthcare Corporate and Property teams.

Founded in 2016, Flourish operates 10 residential care homes across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire for young people with learning disabilities and complex needs. Every home is rated either Good or Outstanding by Ofsted.

For North Yorkshire-based Park Blue Group, this acquisition almost doubles the size of its portfolio, increasing its presence to 23 specialist children’s homes spanning the South West, Midlands, South Yorkshire and the North East.
