Support for businesses – local, national and international

22nd October 2019

Support for business, from local businesses being sold or merged to national companies looking to expand, is at the heart of our Wye Valley office – Arpinder Dhillon, head of the office, is a corporate lawyer, who has helped many local firms make the next step towards growth or change.

From the sale of a local accountancy business to a £20m management buyout of four businesses to create a new international business, the Wye Valley corporate team advises on a wide range of transactions. The management buyout encompassed firms in six different European jurisdictions, including the Netherlands, Belgium and Norway, and was part of a long term business relationship with the management team.

The corporate team’s expertise is reinforced by specialists across the spectrum, from tax and regulatory issues to development and rural affairs, bringing City-level expertise to the area.

Regulatory specialists Bryn Thomas and Aled Owen, who have a particular interest in rural affairs and agricultural businesses, are ideally placed to advise on the range of regulations and requirements that businesses need to abide by.

Land use and the development of new energy solutions are covered by real estate, along with real estate finance expert Clare Day.
