Local lawyers secure top legal rankings

Teams across the Hereford office and wider-firm celebrated at the tail end of 2023 as they secured top rankings in two leading legal directories of UK law firms – the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners.

The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners recognise and rank leading lawyers and law firms across the UK annually following an in depth analysis and survey of client feedback, peer review and performance. Attaining a Band 1 ranking is a powerful endorsement of expertise, client service and overall reputation within in a specific area of law.

Dispute Resolution and Corporate/Commercial teams in Hereford achieved the top ranking in the Legal 500, whilst the Agriculture and Rural Affairs team secured Band 1 status in Chambers & Partners. The firm’s Private Client team were also placed in Band 1 for their Private Wealth expertise in Chambers & Partners specialist High Net Worth guide.

It was double gold for the Family Law, as they were awarded Band 1 by both the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners.

Individual accolades were awarded to Andy Caldicott (Family Law) and Richard Morgan (Dispute Resolution) for their individual expertise and reputation in their respective areas of the law. Chris Finch was recognised as a “Rising Star” in Family Law by the Legal 500, and earmarked as one to watch for the future.
