Clients’ praise puts HCR in standout position

Praise from clients for their legal skills has brought Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ Birmingham and Worcester teams top rankings in two leading legal directories in the last three weeks.

Singled out for being approachable, professional, knowledgeable, and commercial in areas of law as varied as mergers and acquisitions, family law, insolvency and litigation, the firm has been rated among the best in the country in the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners directories. The rankings are based on clients’ assessments.

The corporate team based in Worcester, but covering the Midlands and serving both national and international clients, was said to be “superb to work with and absolutely excellent…they are very agile and have a strong skill set, so are able to bring in knowledge where needed.”

Rod Thomas, managing partner, who heads up the firm’s corporate team overall, was identified as an eminent practitioner, and colleague Arpinder Dhillon, who heads the Wye Valley office, is a leader in her field – a client said of her “You get instant replies, updated constantly on what is happening and nothing is too much trouble for her.”

Elizabeth Beatty’s “immense knowledge of the litigation process and her broad litigation experience” are commended as part of the recognition of the firm’s dispute resolution expertise”, alongside head of dispute resolution Richard Morgan, said to be “a real pleasure, as he is dynamic and responsive.”

Rod Thomas said: “How our clients feel about our work is more important than any other measure of success – these comments are testament to our teams’ commitment and dedication and are very welcome.”
